New "Bangjja Bronzeware" video

Banjja, a traditional hand-forged bronze alloy, is the material most favored by Korean people for making utensils and tableware, and has since ancient times earned worldwide acclaim for its beauty and quality.

Bangjja is composed of 78% copper and 22% tin, and is more malleable than other bronze alloys. Its unique copper-tin ratio, which to this day is used only by Korean craftsmen, cannot be achieved using modern methods, and defies modern technology. Bangjja tableware also has sterilizing properties, adding a further layer of mystery to this seemingly impossible alloy.

KSCPP - Korean Spirit and Culture Promotion Project

Even today, literature and internet websites that provide interesting and accurate information for people of other countries about Korea and its past are few and far between. Because of this, our organization is planning a serie entitled Korean Spirit and Culture, which will provide a basic introduction to Korea's long and rich history, the spirit of its people, and its cultural values, both through the project website (
www.koreanhero.net ) and also through the publication and distribution of free research materials to individuals and major institutions.
