Lee Young-hee, designer of the traditional Korean clothes 'hanbok,' held a hanbok fashion show at the Samsung Experience exhibition hall inside the Time Warner Center in New York on May 22, 2007. She has held the hanbok fashion show every spring and autumn in New York since 2003. This year, she showcased a total 80 outfits of combined Korean and Western beauty, including 15 made from a new material processed from the traditional Korean paper 'hanji.' Hanji threads combined with silk were woven into cloth, which were then naturally dyed.
KSCPP was there to distribute complimentary books Admiral Yi Sunsin and King Sejong the Great. More than 400 copies were distributed at this event.
A limited number of KSCPP DVDs such as 'History of Gold, Nation of Gold: Rediscovering the Relics of Ancient Korea' and 'Dream of the Dynasty, Music of Peace' were also distributed.
