I would like to obtain the DVDs and all publications that are available. I plan to let my children and their friends view and read them. I'm sure the media types are a valuable source from which they could learn about their mother's culture, traditons and history.

| - 3/23/2009 | | | Reviewer: Stephanie | I was randomly walking through the Tate Center when I made eye contact with a man promoting the Korean Culture. I am glad that I took the book that he handed to me.
I truely enjoyed the book about King Sejong. The book makes an excellent arguement for his brilliance and kindness through the tactful use of evidence. The pages fly by and are an easy read; they convey their information in an easy to follow fashion.
One rarely hears of the accomplishments of the Koreans, hearing instead their defeats by the hands of foreign powers. This text, however, shows that there is more to them than just a place to conquer. It shows that they were just as sophisticated as their neighbors and are able to effectively rule themselves.
With this representing the Korean Ideals, I now truely would like to learn more about the Korean culture and society. Thank you for this opportunity! |

I now have newfound admiration for King Sejong, and have learned more about the Shilla Dynasty. My favorite is the Choseon Dynasty, where Confucius came into the story. I look forward to finding more information on this.
Korea is an amazing country with a rich culture, please continue to show Korea to the world!
